Welcome to the Mayland Gun Club website. The club prides itself on being one of the most friendliest and helpful in Essex. The club welcomes both beginners and experienced shooters. Mayland Gun club has 4 undercover DTL stands with undercover viewing and waiting areas. The club also has a Double rise and practice layout available all day on the shoot dates. The club uses voice activated Canterbury release systems and all the stands are run by our own referees. Every event we hold 100 DTL registered, single barrel and double rise. With many sponsored events their is always lots of silverware and prizes on offer. The club boasts many features to make your visit enjoyable for all the family.
Mayland Gun Club offers tuition for both novices and beginners with our own CPSA qualified instructors. Tuition is available from 2pm onwards on shoot dates. We can also offer a 'have a go session' for those who want to try for the first time. To book any of these simply call Alan Lazell or Bill Logan on 07854 671731. Mayland Gun Club also hosts many Corporate days for local businesses or just groups of friends who want a fun and exciting day out. Corporate days include a full English breakfast, trophies, 50+ clays, 50-75 cartridges, loan of a shotgun and tuition on gun safety and shooting skills. Mayland has a variety of trap layouts for these events. If you would like more information contact the club. Mayland Gun Club has a mobile set up that can be transported to local events.
