About Us
Mayland Gun Club takes pride in it's reputation as one of the most friendly and supportive clubs in Essex. Our facilities include four undercover Down-the-Line (DTL) layouts, as well as one Double Rise layout, complete with sheltered viewing and waiting areas. The stands on our layouts are equipped with voice-activated Canterbury release systems and each layout is overseen by our own qualified referees, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. At every event, we host 100 DTL registered competitions and DTL Birds Only entry, with numerous sponsored events that feature an array of silverware and prizes to be won (you must be a club member to win trophies). The club boasts many other features to make your visit more enjoyable for the whole family:
Booking We specialise in Down The Line shooting, so we recommend booking on a squad in advance to secure your spot. Check for available spaces at any of our upcoming shoots and get in touch to reserve your spot. Membership While non-members are welcome to shoot at the club, our annual memberships offer exclusive discounts for added value on shoot entries. |
In Loving Memory
On Thursday 14th July 2016, our Dad tragically lost he's battle to Cancer. Even though he's gone, we're determined to keep Mayland Gun Club running, as it was a place he worked hard on and loved so much. It's not easy doing it without him, but we want to make sure the club stays alive as our way to honour him. We're doing our best to turn our loss into something positive by keeping the club going, just the way he would have wanted.  Mr William Macormac Logan
